Description of the line:
The line is composed of:
two automatic wrapping machines – with a rotating arm (pre-installed, manufactured by Gema, and ring one GEMA-RING 1800), drive roller conveyors of different length, roller-chain conveyors, safety elements – optical barriers with a muting function and netting around the conveyors and wrapping machines, system to control conveyors, labelling machine and a code reader (manufactured by Logipak)..
Description of the line:
After placing the loaded pallet with the use of a fork lift onto the roller conveyor, it is transferred through the roller conveyors to the conveyor located under the ring wrapping machine or the direction on the turntable is changed and it is transferred onto the second wrapping machine with a rotating arm. Both wrapping machines are equipped with a pallet lift which makes it possible to pack from “zero” level, and automatic systems of wrapping the cargo with a stretch film. After wrapping the boxes containing the products with a stretch film according to the set wrapping programme, the cargo is transferred to the conveyors located behind the wrapping machines, where labelling machines are placed. The label is detected on the turntable where two lines of conveyors cross. If the readout is correct, the loaded pallet is transferred directly to subsequent conveyors, and after changing the movement direction on the turntable, onto the conveyors acting as recipient buffers. If the readout shows that the bar code is labelled incorrectly, the pallet is directed to a parallel line of conveyors where it is verified by the operator and the error is corrected. A properly labelled pallet comes back to the main line, is directed to the buffer conveyors, ready for collection.
