Our task was to pack automatically the cargo in the form of autoclaved aerated concrete with a thermo-shrinkable hood, with efficiency of approximately 50 pallets/hour.
An automatic frame shrink tank with a stretch hood machine, a series of chain conveyors, safety elements (optical barriers with a muting function and netting), and the line control system.
After completing the process of palletizing, the cargo is transported by the chain conveyor onto the automatic stretch hood machine, where it is measured, and the film is cut off and sealed. Subsequently, the pallet is passed onto the conveyor under the shrink tank, the heating frame is shifted to the lower position, and the lift moves the pallet. After stretching the hood, it is placed on the cargo. To obtain a better result, the air is sucked out, the pallet is shrunk from the top to the bottom and simultaneously, another hood is prepared. After shrinking, the cargo, protected against getting damaged by the forklift with a fender beam, is delivered to the receiver conveyor.
